It's been a long time between posts as, thanks to this forum, I've had a trouble-free pool for a while now. The issue I now have seems to be related to my pump and or filter.
A while back, when I would vacuum my pool the water would go cloudy and then clear in a few days. I could minimise this by backwashing after I vacuumed. I also noticed that if I let air into the filter, this would cause a burst of dirty water to come out with the air bubbles as they worked their way through...
