I have a 3gpd stenner pump I use for Muriatic Acid and it is running well. My pool just opened 10 days ago, so my acid needs are high to keep pH at the pool builder suggested startup level of 7.0-7.2 (pebbletech).
The pump is running about 3 hours a day with a specified flow rate of .27 ounces per minute. The acid pump is only on when filter pump is at 2750 rpm.
Given this flow rate, is it safe to run the acid pump at a time when people may be in the pool? Or should I only run it...
