Spa considerations when you have a pool

Hi y'all! We just bought a house with an inground pool. We're first time pool owners, so we're super new to all of this and are learning the TFP way for our pool. Since we live in Oregon, I assume our pool will be closed for the winter (told you we're new -- IDEK if the pool gets closed or not yet!). So, we were thinking about getting a hot tub.
