Summer Waves rectangular

We're considering replacing our 10 yr old Intex 24x12 and like the aesthetics of the Summer Waves rattan weave liner.
I can adapt the skimmer to use our stronger Intex pump, but wouldn't the proximity of the inlet & outlet through the liner:

make for ineffective circulation of the water overall?

Any other concerns RE the Summer Waves liner durability and using our SWG for chlorination with this liner?
