lights out

my pool light today went out, a few minutes later came back on by itself, it repeated doing that few more times within 45 minutes, I checked the GFI and the main electrical panel and all were on, there are two switches that turn the light on both functioning normally, NO Timer on the light, No Transformer, normal connection to house 110 Volateg, its plain-Jane pool light in a fiberglass pool, I replaced the bulb a few years ago not sure of the exact date. changing the light is not easy as...
