aquarite generating light is off

my aquarite aqrxl-ls9-cul generating light is not turning on. Salt is at 2200. Water temp at 76. Unit powers on. Detects salt level. Amps and volts on the display are good and within normal limits. I cleaned the cell. The thermistor looks intact. I called Hayward Tech support was clueless. I installed the unit last July and all was fine until we balanced and reopened the pool this weekend

Any advice would be appreciated.
