I have a 10 year old Pentair Quad DE60 filter that is getting a bit long in the tooth. It still works fine but the backflush valve is leaking and I need to clean the filters about three times a year to keep it performing well.
The pool about 10,000 gallons and is at our vacation rental house in central Texas so it gets used year round - constantly.
I've thought about replacing it with a glass media filter.
Any suggestions on what would be a good unit to look at? Any caveats with glass...
