I'm in New Orleans and twice in the last two month my pool flooded: once from a hurricane, the other from a rainstorm that dumped over 4 inches in about 40 minutes. Both times the pool overflowed onto the deck and the deck was under an inch or two of water as well, so the pool was contaminated from the co-mingling.
